The members of the Museum Board wish to thank the town, first responders and volunteers who have done an amazing job tackling the restoration of services and giving assistance to those in need during this disaster.
Update
The main museum building suffered some foundation damage and we will know more after the assessment is completed.
Three of our small buildings were knocked off their foundations but over the summer they will be moved and stabilized.
The section of the Old Hay River Hotel building fondly referred to the Zoo sustained no damage and will open June 10 for visitors.
