Bruce Green Remembered
The Hay River Museum Society extends their deepest sympathy to the Green family on the passing of Bruce Green. Bruce’s involvement meant so much to the Museum Society. He was a great contributor to the fossil collection, an advocate for the very unique walking fish pathway and he and Marilyn were big participants in the music events held at the Zoo.
Bruce was a recipient of the Hilroy Scholarship Award for Innovative Teaching and Programs twice, recognized as citizen of the year in Hay River, inducted into the Teacher’s Hall of Fame for the NWT as well as a recipient of the Order of NWT.
